Joking aside. Subarus are pretty damn capable and have served me well. But having a truck with Low gearing and much better approach /break over angles is taking it to whole next level

@Tahoe1305 we were also looking at zr2 Colorados last summer. If I didn't keep my beater Ram, we probably would have bought one, and I think @KickinNDishin wants to get one in '27 still.

With the lockers and suspension from the factory, every owner I talked to says they can go about anywhere.

My skid plates deff saved me many times. Front one is pretty beat up, I had to take sledgehammer to it (off the car) few time to bend dents back out. I know for sure wout it my oil pan would have taken some big rock hits in the past. Mid and rear skids are there but it’s rare for them to take a hit

Be careful. Those speed bumps in front of lane Bryant can jump up and get you sometimes!

Yup valid but I hate the 6” battery bump in the back. And I’m on the wait list for a GX550 which is its identical twin with a Lexus badge, an amazing turbo V6 and a lovely $10k premium.

If I can save $25k I think the ZR2 would make me happy. That other minor thing I mentioned about handing it down to my kiddo weighs on my too. I wouldn’t hand down the Lexus. I would with this one.

I have a 2020 Colorado crew cab with the diesel and its been a great truck. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I also have a 2015 Tacoma access cab and the Colorado is a much nicer truck; interior, exterior, ride quality, pretty much everything about it is nicer.
