[Where's Bruce?]

Last year I suggested RS add a rating feature so Roksliders could see a sellers history when purchasing. Well they implemented it and it's really easy to use. I just went through all the past mail in my box and left feedback for everyone I have purchased stuff from recently (which was waaaay to many items) and recommend you guys do the same when you have time. This way we all benefit knowing who the good guys (and gals) are and who to watch out for. Kudos to RS for adding another solid benefit to the best forum site on the internet. You guys set the bar very high. Thanks!

I'm confident that as folks become increasingly aware of it they will post ratings and hopefully those receiving positive reviews will return the favor. Like Ebay, the true value lies in the collective participation of everyone. As an unreformed and unrepentant gear ho I will be posting ratings regularly....because I will buy hunting and camping stuff just to keep others from having it.

I love the feedback feature, but it seems like I have to ask people to leave me feedback, and I hate sounding like I'm begging for a rating.

Maybe its a new thing, but I've also noticed I haven't received feedback for the last 5-6 things I've sold on eBay, which is unfortunate. Maybe people figure no feedback is good feedback?

I'm with you. I won't beg for an honest review but feel it should go without saying that once somebody posts feedback for you, you owe it to them to return the favor. Seems fair to me. I hope this message makes the rounds and the Feedback feature gains ground.

Great post Bruce! I didn't realize how easy it was to post feedback.

Went through and left feedback by looking at old conversations.
Wow didn't realize I bought so much stuff on here! haha

Just a side note but you can only post 12 feedbacks in 24 hours...so for you big time gear heads this will take you a few days! Found this out by hitting my limit pretty quick...

Also, if you are engaged in conversation with the person (private message) and you can see their feedback information under their avatar, there is an option to "leave feedback".

Not sure why the feedback doesn't show up on the left side on their classified ad - seems like that's the most important place for it to be shown. Maybe that's just a setting the mods could turn on??
