Remington had nothing to do with the 6.8 Western. It is all Winchester/Browning.Western was all Remington and Browning, and it has been a terrible flop. It was as if Remington wanted to load 270 WSM and changed a tiny bit to avoid it being the same.
It’s the 7-280aia 280ai renamed in metric
I just wish ammo makers would just focus on the supply part of the demand than waste resources inventing new cartridges that don't do anything different than existing.
My wish list for federal would be to load a 35 cal fusion in a 200-225 grain based on achieving legit .4 BC for 358 Winchester. My wishlist for Federal is making more Federal High Bird 12 ga #6 for a reasonable price. Great ammo, but at $20 per box? Thanks Federal. I’m switching to Fiochi golden pheasant.
For when you're hunting at distances that the 28 nosler just won't cut it.

Federal posted a clip on X saying a new cartridge is coming that will be offered in 80 different gun models. Announcement on Jan 7. Any ideas?
No difference between brass and nickel plated brass cartridges when it come to pressuresI don’t know squat about reloading. Do the nickel cases hold more pressure?
