Favorite MR for weeklong backpack hunt

What is your favorite MR pack for a weeklong Backcountry backpacking hunt. I already have a Sawtooth 45 pack I use for a daypack or overnight spike hunts and am looking at upgrading to larger pack for 8 day hunt. Considering getting a bag only Beartooth 80L to add to my frame

I used the Beartooth 80 for like 6 years and never had any issues. Buy an aftermarket extra lumbar pad if you’re a skinny guy to help keep the weight on your hips and off your shoulders.

I’ve used a metcalf several times for longer trips in Colorado and Alaska.

Recently I had a bag made for me that I use now.

f your primary goal is absolute, foolproof separation of meat and gear with maximum compartmentalization, the Beartooth 80 is your pack. It's the logical, clean choice.

I have a metcalf and have used it for many 4-5 day trips but it might be a bit on the small side if you are looking at a legit week long trip. Bulletproof pack though.
