Do these apps show landowner information including phone numbers? My wife has a cow moose tag starting in December and it's basically going to be driving around with two boys under 4 and shooting one within sled distance from the road. Good chance we see several on private land so phone numbers would be extremely helpful. Not sure if that's a thing or not for any of these apps.

I've bought a single state (AK) several years ago off camofire and opened the app twice maybe. Didn't have much use for it when the public land ownership was pretty clear without a map app and the actual mapping seems very underwhelming. All I really care about is the best for private/public and contacts!

atleast for onx up here they dont have phone numbers. If you are lucky they have a physical address and if its within the area you could drive to their house and ask. As a surveyor i am constantly looking up property info on the recorders website and i have yet to find a document with a phone number that i can remember.

I’ve been using Gaia for about six years and am happy with it and don’t see any reason to change.

The guys I hunt with use OnX so I use it too. None of us are "power users" so we don't geek out on features.

Way points/sharing
Property lines
Some tracking
Off line maps
That's all and it's easy.

Even some landowners I talked to in Wyo have OnX on their phones just to be on the same page with hunters if there is a trespassing question. In one discussion a landowner found a serious land ownership mistake that has him heading to the courthouse to correct (or OnX). I don't know if it's been resolved.

Scout To Hunt has offline 3D maps. Pretty nice to have out in the field. Looks like it’s only on iOS right now tho.
