I’m in South Georgia where it can be 95 with 80% humidity during bow season. I’m looking for some better quality tops and pants for this weather than my cheap shirts and stuff I’ve had for years. I want something with good breathability. Drop what you’ve had good and bad experiences with

Black Ovis Realm is a great affordable top.
Outdoor Research Ferrosi pant is the most breathable I've tried and are crazy comfortable.

This year I found some a Sitka Equinox Guard top and pant. Supposedly bug repellent and resistant. I'm so tired of everything in the south ruining my hunt and week. Chiggers, Poison everything, no see ums, mosquitoes and ticks about all damn year. I'd rather be worried about grizzly bears again than deal with all those plus copperheads, rattlesnakes and cottonmouths.

I'm a huge fan of the south as you can tell 😅

I live in NM so we have heat, but not the humidity of the south, but I have used both Free Fly's lightweight Hoodie and the Sitka Equinox Guard Hoodie for tops and the Kuiu Tiburon and Stone Glacier DeHavilland Lite for bottoms.

The Free Fly feels great against the skin, keeps the sun off, and can be worn multiple days before it starts to stink. However it takes a long time to dry IMO. It also doesn't stop mosquitoes at all, so those two things alone are what got me to try the Equinox Guard from Sitka. I hate the next to skin feel of it when I start sweating. To me it feels like wearing a plastic grocery sack. It does dry pretty quick and it has a face mask and large 1/2 zip to help with drying. Because it's synthetic, it works up a stink pretty quick, but I do believe the technology significantly reduces (can't say it completely eliminates because I don't run into mosquitoes unless it's a really wet year) mosquito bites. I would also say that the Sitka hoodie is pretty fragile. I have a few small holes in mine from not terribly hard use.

I have also tried one of the GoHunt sun hoodies, but it is way to thick of a material for me to wear early season or recommend for your conditions. It is really comfortable and I believe they've since dropped a lighter weight sun hoodie, but don't quote me on that.

For bottoms, I like the Tiburon for weight and breathability. Only complaint is no ability to add knee pads (really like those for antelope hunts)

The SG Dehavilland Lite pants are a bit heavy IMO for anything active hunts over 75*, but they have huge thigh vents and have and adjustable waist as well as ability to add knee pads.

I think there are some solid options available as far as the SG 206 pant, Sitka Interceptor pant, and Prana Stretch Zion, but I have no personal experience with them.

There are poly guys and wool guys. I favor wool personally.

Tiburon pants and the merino 120 is the lightest breathable garments I have used for truly HOT weather hunting.

Years ago I bought some leafywear tops and bottoms that are basically stripes of camo material sewed onto dark brown mesh sportswear. Stuff is fantastic when its warm and the mesh is tight enough that it keeps ticks out. I like the stuff so much that I bought another set in my direct size and another set a size bigger so that I can just quick pull it over whatever clothes I already have on. Is fantastic for spring turkey before work or early fall bowhunting after work. It also does a fantastic job of camouflage and breaking up the human outline.

I like that idea of the mesh. Some of those leafy suits I’ve felt in bass pro feel very uncomfortable for some reason. Probably need to look at other brands

The items I have are very comfortable. Basically they base garments are exactly the same as sports warm up suits or pants and tops you'd wear to the gym. It's been 10 years since I bought them, but I can look at brand later. Maybe they're still available?

Embrace the suck, brother. I've yet to find anything that makes archery season less miserable in South Georgia. 😅
Just trying to find ANYTHING to help

I’ve been looking at more lightweight merino stuff honestly. I like the properties of merino with scent control. Leaning towards trying a Sitka core merino 120 possibly.

kuiu Tiburon and kuiu gila hoody or sitka first lite merino blend. for me synthetic is more comfortable than merino when its super hot. but if its many days then I'll opt for the merino blend for the extra odor protection
