Crispi Wyomings for me. I considered the Idaho's but decided that I didn't want the extra height for a boot that would also be used for summer hiking. If it was a dedicated hunting boot, I would have gone with the Idaho's

Was literally just comparing those 2 boots against each other. Was thinking more the Wyoming, but then the idaho's caught my eye last second. They'd be used for 95% hunting 5% worn while shooting my bow.

Like Ross said, the Crispi boots; specifically those with A.B.S.S (Ankle Bone Support System) will be a great choice. I personally prefer a taller boot so I wear the Idaho most of the year and in temps from 25-100 degrees. On the colder end of the spectrum I will only switch to an insulated model if I'm on a less active hunt but have worn them on very active hunts in temps down to 5 degrees. If I stop for more than 15 minutes at that temp my feet get cold but if I'm moving I'm fine. The Nevada is now available uninsulated and the Guide model will be very soon. If you have any questions at all give me a call 801-559-7556
