Currently running the 140GR Fed. Fusions out of mine.

Just curious to hear some of your guys’ favorites and stories of why.

Hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone!

140gr accubond and 142gr accubond LR have been my favorites the past 3-4 years. Shoot great out of multiple 6.5 creedmoors I load for and can’t think of an animal in that time that has gone more than 10 steps.

I’m pretty new to the 6.5. We have a couple mule deer and a couple white tails and 1 antelope so far. All but one have been taken with the 140 sst. The one white tail was taken with the 130 tmk. That bullet also showed good terminal results.

143 eldx have been consistent so far and the one deer I shot with them they did what it was supposed to do. Plan on playing around with some eldm’s

147eldm for me the last few seasons. Good bc, easy to find, shoot great, and they kill great.

I load one load and shoot in in 2 rifles and both shoot it great. Using lapua srp brass, cci 450s, 41.5gr of h4350. My 21" seekins element shoots them at 2650 and 10 shot groups are under moa. The other is a 700 action I put in a mcm game scout and put a criterion remage 24" barrel on, it shoots ten shots into 1-1.25 moa at 2750.

I've also shot deer with the 140 fusion and the 130 berger hybrid otm, they both work great too. I have about 1000 147s left I'm shooting through then I have 800 130tmk's to try.

I use 143gr ELD-X because both of my barrels were chambered for it. I'm tempted to experiment with the 140gr ELD-M but haven't done it yet because ELD-X shoots so well for me.

Mine likes 143 ELD-X, 147 gr ELD-M and 129 gr ABLR (all hand-loads).

Settled on the 129 gr ABLR solely for the color of the tip as it makes knowing what ammo is for the 6.5 CM without having to think twice; all other meaningful metrics were close enough that it didn't matter which one I went with. No issues so far with performance on game.

This is perfect timing, I just got my tikka back from the smith yesterday and loaded up 143 and 140 ballistic tips to see how they do with h4340. I’m hopeful it shoots one of them lights out. Best wishes
