Fatal mountain lion attack Colorado

Tragic! Has to be one of the worst ways to go. Couple this with the lady who got eaten by the great white in Monterey bay last week, it’s been an unlucky time for outdoorswomen in the west.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that. If one does get successfully killed by a mountain lion, its almost certainly over in a matter of seconds from the time the attack is initiated. If given a choice, I'd take death by mtn lion over quite a few other options.

They often crush the larynx to cause suffocation. That takes awhile.

Lar-inks, not lar-nix, like my wife says.

I think it is a tragedy that someone lost their life. Mtn lions are not "little kitty's" as some perceive. Questions I would like answered; was the person experienced, did she have bear spray or a handgun. Finally, a cat loves to stalk and pounce. May just be nature and we may just have to accept that nature can be cruel. I say this as I look at a Boone and Crockett cat on my wall.

Can confirm. Buddy of mine (not colorado ) got killed by a Mt Lion and he said it was actually pretty legit and not bad at all.
