Hello everyone,

Noob checking in. I’ll be the first to say I don’t know my ass from a hole in the ground, so I’m looking to learn as much as possible. I’ve been looking for a hobbie or anything to help me leave my desk, get some sun and make some new friends. Been lurking for a while and finally decided to make it official and say hi. Been looking to start hunting, I hope it’s not to late for a 40something.

Welcome! I am in a similar boat...started getting into Archery to get more time outside and away from the desk. The few hunts I have been on have been incredibly therapeutic and refreshing. Never too late. Only challenge now is finding the money and time haha. I'm out in east TX.

Texas is hard with the limited public lands. Just be prepared for a struggle
