Failure on Resilient Simple Man Suppressor

Add me to the list… sent the latter half of my Jolene S down range about 80 yards a few weeks ago off my 25 PRC… second time it’s been back for repairs.

It’ll be a 6 and 6.5 CM can only from here on.

Same here in regards to 25 prc.
Dang shame you buy something rated for rum and it won’t stand up to half the cartridge.

FYI. I have a Jolene and a Jolene S. Both have failed. They are now delegated to itty bitty cartridges.

Damn.. I got my damaged simple man back and it had been flawless but only used on a 223… picked up a Jolene S and been using it on a 6.5 prc… hoping holding they hold up

It is a huge bummer for sure. If they weren’t good guys and great about fixing it I would be pretty bummed out. I asked them to weld it together like an oilfield pipe this time around. They reported that they’d be testing it on a 300 PRC after repair to make sure it won’t have any further issues.

Hate to hear about more of these. I have a simple man that’s been used on a 65 prc. Might have to keep it on a 223 and 300 blackout.

In my case, far far louder than unsuppressed. Like permanent hearing damage loud.

Shooting out my loading room window. Barrel about a foot outside. The blast was directed back in the window. It blew full 1 lb jugs of powder off the shelf. Nocked a bunch of tools and stuff off a pegboard wall. Felt like I was knocked silly for a few minutes.

The 2nd catastrophic failure I had, I was wearing muffs. And it was a far less powder capacity round, so not nearly as dramatic
