Has anyone used factory ammo advertised as " Factory 2nds (Cosmetically Blemished)"? I am looking at some Nosler Trophy Grade ammo that is $25 per box cheaper because of the blemishes.

All I would say is, as told to me by a longtime Marine "gunny" who loaded the ammo for the shooting team for a long time - if it has any green OR blemishes around the casemouth/bullet seam dump it

I'm assuming your looking at shootersproshop?
If so I've shot literally hundreds of their blemished ammo and components. None looked very blemished to me. I have a box of accubonds that's been on the shelf for a while that look lots worse than anything I've ever received from sps

It basically looks like it was carried around for a season. Bargain.

Berger bullets are my favorite however I have shot lots of different Factory Overruns and Blemished bullets from SPS and they have all been very good no issues at all.
