Factory Barrel Removal and Viper vice hack

At least I know that I got the vice tightened down enough.

The internal wrench I have specifically says don’t attempt use for barrel removal (think it had a 80lb limit). Mine is designed to sheer to avoid internal damage on the action.

Not positive your model, but the external wrench “should” be able to apply much more torque.

I only use the internal to torque on new barrels.

Finally got my barrel off. Factory barrel got pretty marred up, but it's off. Thanks for the tips in this thread.

Deadblow hammer just caused the barrel to slip in the vice, got it with a cheater bar over the action wrench (handle from high lift jack).
