Just a heads up in case those with upcoming travel for hunts haven’t seen, flights are being cut by 10% starting tomorrow. If you have a good tag and planning to get there by plane, I’d start considering other options. Air travel has already been iffy since COVID, can’t imagine this is going to go smoothly. Looks like they aren’t announcing any more info until tomorrow morning, I’m supposed to fly out Saturday morning 😂

Please don’t turn this thread political, just a heads up for those planning air travel. I had a primo tag a few years ago and the hunt pretty much never happened because of a flight fiasco… it sucked…. If you really need to get somewhere, plan to drive.

Flying for a Colorado 4th season, on edge. Partner is driving but I simply can’t due to work. Hoping for the best
Yea, same here, driving wasn't an option. Missing the cut off by less than 24 hrs hurts a little though, especially if I don't end up making it. Trying to scramble for a back up plan now, possibly finding a direct as close as possible, booking that (refundable) for Sunday, and then one way rental to destination.... Guess we will see how it goes tomorrow, hope it works out for you!

I just told the wife, this may mess up my montana hunt, if its still going in 3 weeks. I am sure my flight into podunk ND would be affected.

Just changed from tomorrow night to tonight to ensure my flight isn't impacted. I'm scrambling to get to airport and get picked up after landing.

What a cluster and it pisses me off but can you do? Hopefully it doesn't screw up my next hunt which is the following week. Time will tell.

Good luck to those left not knowing what's happening with thier flights and hunts.

Heading to Calgary next week. They say international flights are not affected so I hope my flight goes off as planned. I can drive up but it’s a 2 day drive. Fingers crossed for all who are trying to travel to get to a hunt.

Good luck on the hunt. I just did the same but first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully a 6AM flight gets out before anything gets too crazy.

Suppose to fly to Maui on Tuesday the 11th and then jump over to the big island after a few days. I know they said SeaTac was one of the airports with cuts, sure hope I am not on that list!!!

My wife is in Vegas for a conference. Easy drive for her but she just called me and mentioned she may be home earlier than planned tomorrow because her friends that flew in are all having issues with flights and trying to rebook to the next available so she wont be hanging out with them tomorrow morning.

Yeah I'd guess that would beat the plane shuffle that will building as the day progresses.

It's the not knowing that makes adjusting nearly impossible.

I hope it works out for everyone. I would worry about connecting flights and luggage…guns. Hard to get from the east cost to a hunting area directly. Don’t be surprised if some airlines use this as an excuse to reduce flights afterwards as well.
