Smacked a deer with my 2018 F150 and want to replace the front bumper with something aftermarket/more substantial (i.e. Ranch Hand, Fab Fours). Suspension is stock and I really do not want to upgrade if possible. Does anyone have any insights or recommendations?

Following. I smacked deer/hog with my last two f150s and replaced with a ranch hand on the first (heavy) and a rough country (lighter, more factory number profile, non USA made) on my 2nd. Generally on an F150 I think the lighter rough country was a better option but with my current truck I definetly went down the rabbit whole with more expensive made in USA options but still haven’t replaced factory (until I probably smack another deer)

Ranch hand is a lot of weight on your stock springs. Dealers in Texas order Superdutys with the snow plow option when planning to use that bumper.
Does its job know of multiple deer and cow hits with no damage

For the F150s, Ranch Hand only makes the summit model which doesn’t have the 4” pipe across the front like the Super Duty Legend version, and is therefore significantly less weight than the Legend version. I’ve used the summits on both my F150 and F250 with no adverse effects except fuel milage. They will cost you about 10% in fuel milage, which I don’t think is caused by the added weight but rather the increased drag.

I had a proline on my first tundra, they are also what is put on LEO rigs here, though that could be regional since they are made here.

The tundra I had has hit 3 mulies (that’s why he put the proline on) and 2 after the bumper and there was no sign of impact on the bumper.

Be careful with some of the aftermarket bumpers. They have no give, which is great until you realize that it’s damaging the frame because it isn’t “giving”.

Ali Arc.
I have had the Ali Arc front bumper replacement on two trucks and a bull bar on my F350.
Lots of truckers run them, they work well on moose and elk.
They are about same weight as the stock bumper.
