Has anyone used the ez fletch for fletching trad vanes? I’ve used my ez fletch for blazer vanes and it works very well but the model I have is just for blazer vanes so before going out and buying another ez fletch I wanna make sure it’ll work.

I us an AZ ez fletch to glue on my feathers. It works ok. I am not very experienced, but I get ok results. Its the only jig I've ever owned. Been using it for five years.

I recently switched to tape instead of glue. It is definitely easier. The jury is still out on durability.

Which model are you guys using or thinking of using? I need to get something and I've had great luck with the mini and blazers. The pro model that does up to 5"?

I have an easy fletch, it's a 5-6" standard right offset, but used my bitz for trad vanes, the bases are really small on those vanes, I don't think it would work very well. Wish I still had a few vanes left I'd stick them in it to try. Those vanes are really flimsy, I suspect you would have contact problems in the midpoint of the vanes with the easy fletch.

I just picked up the stand model ez fletch and fletched up and arrow with the trad vanes and yes the first try I did have some contact issuers but it very well could have been me I was worried about putting to much glue on and ended up not putting enough. Shot the arrow for a bit and everything seemed fine.

Try getting some tape to put over the fletching wings, then cut a thin line through to place the vanes. I have used the metal HVAC tape before and it seems to help. I actually run electrical tape on my bitz, keeps glue from sticking to the metal. If it builds up I pull the tape and replace.

I'm completely confused! I'll have to Google Fletch tape I guess.
