Does anyone not wearing glasses find this spec useful when evaluating binculars? I do not.

To get a good clear view without vignetting/kidney beans the shape of the eye cups and their extension seems more important and that has no specification. So trying the binocular is the only way to see if they fit your face and eyeballs?

Some models seem to need one more click of extension to get a clear view without holding the bino off your face. On birding forums I have seen MacGyver methods to add extension but it seems that listing eye cup extension might be helpful for prospective buyers.

I’d appreciate a list of best binos for glasses wearers. I used eye relief as a proxy but haven’t done enough testing to know how reliable those stated values are

It would nice if an eye glasses wearer knew the amount of eye relief they required due to their lens position in the frame and lens thickness. Of course that would assume all manufacturers measured exactly the same.

Some discussion here

There have been other threads, but the search algorithm here thinks it's smarter than we are, and "corrects" this

into anything (including partial words) with "glass" in the title.
