Exo Mountain K4?

Anyone else try the k4 and prefer their k3 over it? I'm gonna spend some more time with the k4 but as for now I prefer the k3.

Anybody have a medium belt in Ranger green they would be willing to sell? I’ve lost some weight and am about to the end of my large’s adjustment

My new K4 is definitely a better fit for me than the K3 and it is very important to look at the EXO videos to make certain you are adjusting and fitting it properly. Steve does a great job of explaining precisely what you need to do to make your pack ride properly. Thanks Steve.

Any must haves for the k4 accessories? I’m holding off on ordering some and just piecing together some off other packs for my first week of the year guiding until I get pack more broke in. Just wondering if guys have a short list? I’m thinking a stash pocket maybe two, Nalgene if my old mystery ranch one isn’t great, a few more auto locks, dry bag?

Will kifaru gun bearer work, not the universal the kifaru? I was playing last night and it seems to. We have some weeks before I need that

I don't care for the EXO rifle carrier, I'd try to make the Kifaru work if you already have it. I oakie rigged a SG R3 rifle carrier onto my K4 and it works great.

For K4 accessories I personally like the nalgene holder, 1 hip belt pocket, 2 stash pockets and a couple of extra locking buckles. The dry bag insert is nice in certain environments but not a must have for me. I didn't really love the rifle carrier for accessibility but it does carry the rifle nicely.

For me it’s the crib panel, Nalgene pouch, hip belt pouches and InReach pouch. I use multiple stash pockets for organizing. I also have at least one locking buckle setup.

I forgot about the inreach pouch, I do really like the way that one works as well.

Last year u ran the kifaru mole lower.
One clipped in the bottle pocket row.
And a zip tie up around the say to the other clip.
It worked well, but it gonna tray the universal lower this year.

I tried the kifaru upper on the exo shoulder strap Molle. I can’t remember if I had it actually pop out.
Or I just didn’t like the pressure it was putting on so out of paranoia I used the universal upper that wraps all way around the shoulder strap.
I had zero issues.

And if you want the barrel behind you for a climb or something I just put it under the upper side pack strap
