Hello, I have been keeping an eye on the EXO web site hoping they would off their meat shelf back up for sale. Does anyone know when/if they will be back? Why did they stop offering them? Hoping the boys from EXO will chime in here.

Thanks.

You mean the Crib Load Panel?

I think this is the updated meat shelf. And, it works awesome, imo.

Is that all they offer now? I was actually speaking of just the shelf that used to go between the bag and frame. Maybe they don't offer it any anymore..... thought it was and option at one time.

Packing meat between the frame and the 3500 pack also works just fine without any crib or shelf.

I have done this many times, I was hoping to get the meat a little higher as I will more than likely be boning out the Elk this year.

Thanks

The crib panel is great. I use it to strap a 50lb sand bag to the frame. I can really cinch a load down to the frame without worrying about how the bag is strapped too much. Plus, if I want to do a second load of meat I can just dump the bag and use the crib.

Yep, if a second trip is required it’s nice to leave the bag at the truck.

I know the crib is in stock. I was hoping they still offered just the meat shelf.

Yes K2 frame, looks like the crib is my only option with the K2.

Ohh looked it up. The difference was the meat shelf hooked to bag on top, crib comes back to the frame.
I'd think that would be better at keeping the load close to you.
But they usually pick the phone rite up and are probably the ones to ask if there bringing that back.

I ran the crib between the frame and bag on a few training hikes to keep my 50lb bag of cattle mineral a little higher. It worked well for me to raise the load which sounds like what you are looking to do. I wanted to simulate a quarter in the crib with my normal day hunt gear load in the bag.

We used to offer the old Load/Meat Shelf and a Beavertail Panel. The Crib replaces both of those items and outperforms them in numerous ways. A big change is that the Crib can be run on the frame alone (no pack bag attached), whereas the load shelf required that you had a pack attached to interface with the frame.
