EXO K4 Now or Wait for the EXO K4X

On these packs are the waist bands exchangeable or is the whole pack built around the belt. Looking to get a new pack, but also on a major weight loss push to be about 100lbs lighter next fall. Trying to decide whether I need to wait or if there is is flexibility in the design

You can change out the hipbelts

The things I don’t like about the k4 are the rifle carry system and having to take the lid off to convert to meat carry mode. Will that carry over to the new K4x?

Why do you have to take the lid off for meat carry? I don't.
