Just pulled the trigger on the 4800 setup. I don't necessarily need a pack of this size at this time, however more or less planning for the future. I may end up grabbing an 1800 back as well for the day hunts.

I'd rather have the pack I need in the future then have the added expense when I am finally ready to use the pack to it's fullest design.

Have a K2 2200, the 4800 bag just delivered this week, should be set for anything my 50yo self will do now.

They got me today too. Just ordered a 4800 system a few minutes ago. I’ve been lurking on them for a few days. I have a Sitka Mtn Hauler 4000 but man this was such a good deal. Plus the Sitka is an internal meat has system and I don’t know how jazzed I am about that. Plus the belt pouch attachment system on the Sitka waist belt to me is kinda weird. Sold some 2A pew-pew to fund all my gear purchases for this fall. Looking forward to getting it.

I was indecisive and missed the sale. Drop me a line if any of you get yours and decide not to keep it :)

That is the combo I went with. The 4800 and 1800 are a great combo.

For those that bought a blem, how long before it got shipped?
I ordered mine last Thursday and got the shipment notification today.

Coming from an alpz commander freighter, which has worked really well for me after a few modifications but is getting pretty worn out. Excited to see if it's really the upgrade that so many people say it is.

Another example of EXO being a solid ethical company and not just trying to pass them off as normal.

I very much agree

They really go out of their way to prove they care… along with them making a great product, I will always have at least one exo in my stable

I’m waiting for the next version… I have a k2 with a k3 belt, so I can’t really justify a k3, but I like the prototype packs they are working on… I think next year there will be a k4, and I want to try it.

I had a k1 as well, and it was a great pack too… they build good stuff, they go above and beyond standing by their stuff and are just good quality no BS people

I think they make the best all around pack systems

I ordered one to test. We were headed out on vacation so right after ordering I asked if they would wait to ship for a week. They said yes. Later that day I got a notice it was on the Fedex truck. So fast shipping when I didn't want it lol.

I got Fedex to hold it until we got back.

My blem 4800 got delivered today….8 days from order to receipt, that’s pretty dang good.
All I can say Is WOW.
I literally can’t tell where the ‘blem’ color difference is on mine. I have camo clothing pieces that have the same “pattern” but different materials on the piece and the color difference is way worse on that stuff …
I put about 25 lbs in the pack to fit it. Out of the box it was pretty much right on for me. For fun I adjusted the shoulder harness up one notch and didn’t like that fit as much so moved them back to the original spot. Now I will load it up with about 35 lbs and go on a hike and see how it rides.

They did the right thing with the aluminum frame issue when they introduced with the K3 too. Awesome customer service

They do packs and only packs, which I really like.

Many thanks to the OP. Purchased a 4800 while they lasted and it arrived last week. Haven't tried it out yet, but so far really liking the features and fit. Literally cannot find the reason its a blemish. Looks perfect to me.

Well I thought I liked my alpz but after testing out this k3 I am stoked. I did a 2 mile hike with a case of water bottles(45 pack weighing about 50 lbs) with the alpz freighter and then the next day did it with the k3 and it was drastic how much better the belt works on the exo. Zero slipping.

I do notice the color difference on the stretch panel for this blemish pack, but couldn't care less. It almost looks pretty cool and I would kind of expect that different material would look a little different
