Exo Frame with Apollo bag?

Anyone use an Exo frame with Apollo bag or know of a thread on here that has talked about it? I looked for one but didn't see any.

Just curious if you've looked at the exo 2000? Very similar and designed for that frame.

Yes, I have seen it.....just feel like it's more of an overnighter bag and maybe longer. I just wanted a bag for tripod, binocs, some food, kill kit a small bladder, and maybe a coat of some sort. I think Exo got a little excited with the 2000 and made it bigger than it should have been. I have the 3500 and it will compress just as well as the 2000. I thought the Apollo looked exactly like what I was wanting in the Exo 2000 day bag. hard to say though as I can't have both in my hands, lol.

The EXO 2000 would be perfect for what you describe. With the lid rolled up it isn't much bigger. Plus if you get an Apollo and need more room once you buy a lid you'll be more money into it.

Also from what I remember the EXO bags fit Kifaru frames but Kifaru bags sleeve is too small for the EXO frame as the Kifaru frame is a tad narrower.

Also you can have both and send back the one you don't like as both companies have a 30 day return policy.

Exo2000 has more features then the Apollo yes they will fit on each others frames. You may have to do some strap mods for the compression straps but otherwise it will work. I had the Apollo and sold it and went with the 2000 because of the clamshell and the stuff pocket. Both of which the Apollo didn't have. Im not saying the Apollo is a bad bag at all just that i liked the features the 2000 offered better. As far as size between the 2 they are similar in size both roll top and both are very well made. The stretch pocket, drink holders made the 2000 pull ahead in the Cubes department otherwise your getting very similar main compartments. Both can be overstuffed too. For what its worth I run the Exo 2000 and 5500 on my Kifaru Tactical Duplex Frame. Hope that helps you out.

I have a Kuiu Icon Pro 1850 that I use on my Exo frame and it works sweet. Cheaper than the other 2 and has a lot of nice features

How do you get the Kuiu bag to fit? it doesn't seem to have the flap at the top of the bag to go over and exo/kifaru frame?
