I realize it's the first weekend of college football bit isn't it a little early to be hitting the sauce? ;-)

In all seriousness, I agree with n2horns, I have been looking at a few of the accessories and would like to hear some feedback on then as well.

The accessories just became available. Though a bit small, the pouches are the best I have ever used. One hand to zip and unzip. Holds its shape excellent. Wish it was a tad bit bigger but they are nice. I am looking forward to a beavertail once it is made in foliage.

X2, pretty much my thoughts exactly on the pouch.

I hate my phone. Sorry for the poor grammer. I wish I was saucing at that time. Thanks for figuring out what I was trying to say.

Agree on the pouches , nice to be able to operate one handed , big enough for my purposes (rangefinder , wind checker, etc ) but agree also they are on the smaller size.
I also got the slurpee stalker , well thought out and nicely made , I'll mount it between the frame and bag , got a quick connect fill adapter so access isn't a problem , but even if I did need to get to the water bag between frame and bag it would take about a minute , I just don't like having water in the main bag with other gear I don't want to get wet in case of a blow out . The meat shelf is pretty basic but functional . The nicest thing with all these accessories is ease of use , they attach easily and quickly , and they are very functional , like the frame and bag IMO Steve and Lenny did their homework with them .

Any updated base weights with these new add ons?….

On my 3500 with the 2 hip belt pouches on and the slurpee stalker and meat shelf in the bag I get 5lbs 8.5 oz on my digital scale , with just the 2 hip belt pouches on I get 5lbs 2 oz . I have not weighed the pack itself but listed specs say 4 lbs 12 oz without accessories . Still pretty good , I thought I would have gained at least 1 lbs .

I like the pouches, they are smooth. I would like to hear more about the slurpee stalker, and how its working out. I was planning on using a camelback carrier or something similar. But if the weight and design of the EXO version seems the one to get.

I think any bladder carrier would work , you might have to rig up connection points to the bag or frame , I think SHTF has a thread in DIY Gear where he rigs a HUMP bladder holder to his 3500 bag , the slurpee stalker from EXO has the quick connectors and the attachment points all set to either hook up in the bag or on the frame ,between bag and frame , just a nice streamlined setup . The outside mesh pocket is a nice touch also , can probably keep my filter kit in that . here's a few pics of mine mounted to the frame , the meat shelf is also attached .

Was going thru my stuff and noticed I did order a meat shelf. I emailed Steve/Lenny about it. Now looking that the Slurpee stalker, just need to hit the buy button. I will, it makes a complete and neat package.

I just received the Exo Slurpee Stalker. It looks very well made and well designed. It fits my CamelBack 3 liter mil spec long bladder perfectly. I am going to hang it inside my Icon Pro 5200 pack rather than hang my bladder in a side pocket.

Been using the side pouch daily now for week or so. Like it just fine for toting the iphone around. Was using a similar maxpedition which is a stiffer pouch and probably a little more protection. Also have a similar kuiu which is much too floppy for the job. Will keep using the exo mainly cause of the one finger opening, nice. May get another for other hip to carry range finder or tools if doing project.

I also did the bungee on the back, works great there. Thinking of running my bladeer on the frame also but worry about having to move it when i pack meat there. Thinking about maybe putting tabs on the bag facing the frame and hanging it there, then it would ride on the load of meat.

I got my pack loaded up tonight. 5500. I put the 3l big zip / slurpee bag on the main frame. Like others I too thought about moving it with meat back there. I may move it to the inside bag later. Love how well the bag tightens up and all the connection straps/points. I too picked up shock cord, but forgot the cord locks. Put 2 days of food, swaro 15x56, vortex 10x42, tripod, hiking sticks, water and few misc items. Will finish loading up tomorrow for the trip out to chase elk.
