Yeah it is closer but like Steve said when you include the roll top. I would say it is similar to the Kuiu 3k in size.

This will really depend on the gear you have, my stuff packs down pretty small overall. I could probably get a 7 day trip setup by using a 35L dry bag between frame and bag. But with just the bag I can see maybe max 2-3 days of food plus gear. A lid would help extend this. I had a 3500 when they first came out, I like this layout better.

Could you post a few pics of the hidden lid? I'm still trying to decide if it is worth getting the 2000 bag to put on my 15' exo frame instead of the 3500 bag.

I don't have an EXO frame but I think this bag is about 1.5-2" short on the 26" Kifaru frame

Fits the 26 inch frame without any problems at all. Got mine tonight. Absolutely fantastic setup. Has some organization. Marrying the duplex to the bag was a cinch as always. Like they are made for each other. Really like the layout and also threw on my Exo 5500 Lid which really compliments it well. Will do some pictures when I get some more time with it. But its definitely going to be staying in my bag arsenal. You are pretty spot on.. its about same size as the Kuiu 3200 but you can expand a bit more upwards with the roll top.

Yeah it mounts up perfectly to the 26" and I'm sure would mount just as well on a 24". Bag would be a little long on a 22".

Because of all the positive feedback, from those who purchased and mounted the bag to the Kifaru frame, I just ordered one as well. Can't wait to mount it to the new 24" Tactical Duplex. Plus it will fit my older 26" Duplex no problem. Thanks dotman for posting pics.

Just out of curiosity (for those who have tried both) are the Kifaru frames that much better than the Exo? I have an Exo on order but may swing by Kifaru and try some of the frames.
