Seriously it is almost as if this bag was designed for a Kifaru frame. After spending a min breaking the 1" buckles off and replacing all of them with itw hardware it took seriously less then a minute to mount the bag. So befor anyone complains to Steve that they didn't get coyote buckles and web keeper, I added these.
I used 4 Kifaru k clips, 2 on each side, to mount the side attachment points. I ran the bottom webbing through the common loops on the bottom of the frame and the top sleeve fits right over the frame and perfectly allows for use of the top and next to top shoulder strap attachment points. I also could of pulled the top common loops through and use these to mount a lid.
I did get a complete cargo panel strap kit bit really about half the kit is needed, I like extra stuff I guess.
The spotting scope pocket easily fit my Vanguard 82a spotter and my tripod strapped in just as easy as Steve shows in his video.
Overall initial impression is very good. I like the layout of the bag and I added 3 mesh stash pockets to the inside as well. I have only stuffed it with blankets but I'm liking it. I doubt I run a lid on it, really see no need for it when used as a day pack. I have a hanging meat bag between the bag and frame and the pack will easily extend from the frame when using the Kifaru k clips.
