Does anyone have any particular forms or mounts that work well with standard 8ft ceilings? Trying to figure out where to put my bull I got in ND this year. I'd rather not put him in the garage.

I thought about pedestal, but they are significantly more expensive in my area. My taxi is charging $875 for the mount and additional $200 for removable horns.

Pedestal was another few hundred

Spike?
Or 7x7 with backscratchers?

If you have a stairwell to the basement, you can put him on the wall over that. Or you can build a pedestal and put him on that in a corner. My uncle and I built this pedestal in one day with about $75 worth of beetle kill pine. It's just over 26" high, 26" wide, and 38" deep, and built it so I could put a regular wall shoulder mount on it. That way the mount can go on a wall or the pedestal.

I have the same constraints and have decided to go pedestal mount as well. With removable head/ and removable antlers so I can get it downstairs into the den.

5miles nailed it. Pedestal is likely the best option, but stairwells can work if it fits.
