Anybody have a good, durable, everyday work type pant they like? I’m not looking for something as heavy as a carhartt, dickie, double thigh pant as I have plenty of those types.

I don’t want anything that’s full nylon or softshell. More like the wrangler outdoor utility pant. I’ve gone through a few pairs of these but it seems like the new stuff is less durable than the original.

Suggestions?

The Riggs Ranger pants are pretty decent and they are tough as nails. Carhartt discontinued the B73 double knee logger pants, so I'm in search of a new denim style work pant.

An arborist buddy turned me on to Truewerk pants and after ordering a few pairs, all of my Carhartt's went to Goodwill. I find myself wanting to wear these pants for just about everything, not just outdoor chores. The XP with kneepads are probably my favorite of the lineup.

I’ve seen ads for these and they are on the radar.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone

I haven’t worn them yet but from talking to and reviews I think Truewerk is where it’s at.

But I just can’t pay that much for work pants.
I also limit myself quite a bit as I like carpenters pants my phone fits in the leg pocket.

Redkap and Duluth has been my go to. But I only by them on sale. For like sub $30

I just took the plunge and ordered 2 diff styles of the truewerk pants to try out.
You will love them. I'm still rocking my original pair of T2's. I have completely beat them up over the last 3-4 years and they're still going strong.

For warm weather, the Eddie Bauer guide pro have been great. Stay cool in hot weather and I have completely trashed them working on machines and they still clean up after. Highly recommend. I have a couple pairs of the lined version for wearing in cold weather.

I do have a pair of the lined guide pro pant. They’ve been awesome during shooting sessions in the winter!

Duluth has a new firehouse HD pant that are nice. Thicker than the new firehose flex but not as heavy as the original firehose. Got them for half price a couple weeks back.

I was looking for a business casual pant and landed on the Prana Brion. They are awesome pants and I wear them all the time. Pair well with a button down, polo, or tshirt.
