Everyday wear boot

Whats everyone wearing as an every day boot to keep your feet and back healthy? I've come to the conclusion that my Georgia Romeos are probably doing more harm than good as an every day boot on my feet and back. Insoles alone helped with my back, but the lack of support and the loose fit I think is a contributing factor to some of my foot and back issues. I used to wear Keens, but I tore through them pretty quick. I dont plan on wearing my beartooths to the office so I need something more casual or at least not as big and stiff. I do wear boots daily and would like to stay that way. Whats everyone using?

even the crispi altitude would be a good choice (i use them as a hunting boot but they would be good for every day wear too)

I have a pair of Blundstones, not sure if it’s a buy it for life butttt I think they are great quality and wear them throughout the long Canadian winters when i am out there.

Thorogood are what I wear as well. I’m in those boots 12 plus hours a day and they have been great for me.

I was also wearing Georgia Boot Romeos and getting some foot pain. I recently switched to Jim Green African rangers to get a wider toe box and it has helped immensely! I am still bouncing back and forth between the barefoot sole and the traditional but they have been awesome so far!

Redwing boots are the only boots I have that don't hurt my feet and fall apart after six months.

Another vote for thorough good. I wear mine with sheep feet insoles every day. I think the moc-toes are even in style for gen pop right now.

Looks like Thorogood has a pretty good following. They have some styles I like which helps. As much as I hate moving back to a lace up after the ease of slip on for years, I think it's the right move for my feet. Thanks guys and keep the recs coming.

The boot has to fit, more than anything else. Different brands are different widths - I have a C width foot and with an extra thick insole Asolo boots fit perfect. It’s almost a D width but not quite.

The Fugative has been around for decades, and has been my daily wear for interior or exterior construction, walking around the park, hiking, fishing, going to the range, or working in the yard - I’ve worn out probably 15 pairs of these and 5 or 6 pairs of the heavier all leather version, and 10 pairs of other boots of various models.

I use the photo showing weight, because boots that are lighter don’t provide the same arch support.
