I am definitely not anti vax, if I was high risk at all I would be getting the vaccine, but I have an big problem with the federal government requiring "X" to keep your natural and constitutionally protected rights.
nope. Pretty amazing place.
I disagree 100%. Extremely over rated and ultra liberal. No thanks.
And why do you live your life hingng on what dumbass biden says or does? You had better give a sh t, because as the EU goes so goes Biden, Inc.
Read the posting right below yours for true enlightenment.....
Many guys here will want to travel for Canadian sheep, goat, moose etc, and without a vax card good luck with that. I've always suspected that a 'proof of vax' would be required for travel and it's why we both got the damn shots, aside from not wanting actual Covid.....
And most restrictions are totally irrelevant and unnecessary. And what is next? The government will start demanding kids have certain vaccines before going to kindergarden? Having to pass a test and have a license to drive on public roads? The government requiring you to register and have insurance your vehicle? They may even try to dictate how much alcohol you can consume before driving or fire your guns in town. Those fascist bastards.
Yeah yeah thats everyone’s go to, there are other arguments as to why those are not around any longer. go check em out and hear the other sides of the story and use logic instead of what a government agency has to sayWe’ve never stopped, cured, or prevented a virus? You mean like smallpox or polio?
Or perhaps you can point out to me which of the things I listed have been deemed unconstitutional? Maybe it is you who are in need of the review?H
Hopefully they will require you to pass a test before you reproduce.
I don't care what they do in the EU as that is their business, but we have a constitution here and I suggest you review it, specifically the 14th amendment, privledges and immunities clause, articles of the confederation, and letters from people such as James Madison and Alexander Hamilton.
well, I guess it’s two against one, so Europe must indeed suck. I will have to revisit my experiences there and try to understand where I had it all wrong.
If you like it then great. I have absolutely zero desire to visit again or live there. Also, people like you are really annoying. Saying something like “Europe sucks” is obviously tongue in cheek but people like you always pop up and get all hurt over things on the internet that aren’t meant to be taken seriously.
The real question is- where do you draw your line? And what is next? The government will start demanding kids have certain vaccines before going to kindergarden? In so far as the vaccine is concerned, I agree people should not be forced. Private institutions should be able to set their rules as they see fit.The real question is- where do you draw your line?
I don't think anybody wanted mandated sheltering for those at risk. What was said or should have been said, was that "those at high risk.......should choose on their own what's best for them while the rest of society goes about their business, and if that means sheltering then so be it". Same can be said now for those that aren't vaccinated.......that choice should be left to everyone to make on their own given the situation. That's why we live in America, because we have the freedom to make those choices for ourselves, that the government shouldn't be making for anyone.I do think it is ironic that some of the anti-vaxxers who early on said the at-risk in society should shelter in place while they should be allowed to go on about their business may be threatened with similar restrictions.
I never once said that in any case, my stance on any thing is its an individual’s choice. period. whether quarintine, vaccination, abortion, etc. I don’t want my tax dollars going to abortion but if a mother feels that’s what she wants to do she has to live with that... I digress but the vaccine issue is all about choice to me, provide people with facts and let them choose and don’t penalize people one way or the otherIn so far as the vaccine is concerned, I agree people should not be forced. My opinion is many will scream bloody murder when they learn how uncomfortable that shoe is when placed on the other foot.
Do you feel the same way about drunk driving? Or having unprotected sex when you have HIV and your partner is unaware? Or is there a point at which the societal good outweighs an individual's desire?I never once said that in any case, my stance on any thing is its an individual’s choice. period. whether quarintine, vaccination, abortion, etc. I don’t want my tax dollars going to abortion but if a mother feels that’s what she wants to do she has to live with that... Nice non-sequitr. One has nothing to do with the other.Next up, gun confiscation for people who won’t get the vaccine.
