ES/SD with larger sample size

Last time I was out I had 10 rounds that had a SD of 11, but one low and one high that opened up the ES to 42 despite annealing, hand trickling loads to the kernel of powder etc. Is this normal? In the past I might have written it off to muzzle blast messing with the optical chrono but I’m not thinking the radar is wrong.

That is Normal. I wouldn't waste any time trying to do better if it shot well. Internet 3 and 5 shot ES/SD numbers are a joke.

I get those too but I can usually explain them away.
Es that are good with a couple outliers like that make me think - Neck tension, barrel /chamber/ammo temp (did a round soak in the chamber longer?), suppressor first round shots or just some enviromental variable.
