honestly not sure I care about this specifically but I thought it was interesting. Epicurious (app and website for recipes) is not publishing any new beef recipes because of beefs climate impact.
I have the app on my phone and use it and their website from time to time. I substituted wild game for beef in some of their recipes. I wonder if they will ban almonds due to the excessive water use required t grow them.
feels like a bit of “woke gone wild” to me. They aren’t saying don’t eat beef but if you want a new recipe go somewhere else or use some of our old shit that still uses beef. Odd to me. Is this like cancel light or what?

The Planet on the Plate: Why Epicurious Left Beef Behind
In an effort to encourage more sustainable cooking, we won't be publishing new beef recipes on Epicurious.
