Eotech Rifle Scopes

In the market for a new scope for a build I’m doing on a 300 PRC. I haven’t been paying much attention to scope technology and options available but it seems like there are quite a few on the market with great offerings between Leupold, Zeiss, Swarovski, etc….but where are my EOTech Vudu fans here on Rokslide.

EOTech was a recommendation made to me from a good buddy of mine but I have very limited experience with the brand and have only looked through his scope once. Talk me out of going with an EOTech?

I’ve wondered about this too. I use their HWS on all of my ARs and love them. I get a good discount on their products via ExpertVoice and have been really wanting to try out one of the Vudu scopes. Hope somebody has some real world feedback.

They are made in Japan. Japan puts out some great quality scopes and some that are somewhat average. What will the Eotech do that a similarly priced scope of known quality won't do? Why roll the dice?

I just got one of the 1-10’s from Euro Optic that they’ve got on sale, it’s the best 1-10 I’ve gotten behind. I listed my 1-10 Razor the next day and ordered a second Vudu.

Curious about the 5-25 as they’ve got the Tremor 3 version for $1299 right now too.

i have really been wanting to try a vudu, but when it came to it and i had to fork out the dough, i got a NF instead... i still want to try one, as well as a march, but they cost enough for me to buy tried and true rather than taking a chance

I ended up with a tenmile based on recommendations here but I’m not completely in love with it yet. Thinking I may swap it out for a vudu or Zeiss hd6

I ended up buying a second 1-10 Vudu, they continue to impress me. IMO it's the best LPVO on the market aside from the S&B Dual CC.

I am actually looking at the 1-10 right now. Mine would be going on a ruger SFAR, i think it might be perfect for that gun.

It would be excellent for that. Euro Optic has "like new demo" units on the cheap, I bought two and both were brand new. The LE5 reticle in them is by far the best reticle I've used in any LPVO. It's got a center donut of death as well as a nice fine crosshair for precision work, most LPVO's have a pretty thick center dot.
