English walnut stock update…

Had let the stock dry for 5 days this time. Knocked it back with steel wool then another thin hand rubbed coat of just truoil. This is the 11th coat and I think it’s close. Will give this a 5 day drying time and see how even it dries up. Have Five F finishing compound ready if the stock ends up ready.

I am undecided at this point. But If so, I will be outsourcing that as I am not well versed on that side of stockwork. I do have a contact for it however.
