Oh Dog ! I won some wool rich buffalo hunting pants @ Auction for $50 ( normally $300)
1st comment from wife “ you’re going to look like Elmer Fudd ”
anyone else ever wear these on a hunt? Have the matching jacket already
just hoping they are warm & comfy

Yep. Wear em every year in the NE. They are warm...even when wet. They might be a bit heavy, but none of the new technologies have yet to equal wool. Might be too warm for Texas.

I have had a pair since 1977. They still get worn or real cold days bunting and perfect for under waders during cold steelhead fishing.
