Anyone else sign up for Corey Jacobsen's University of Elk Hunting? He put it out at a special price today for $49, which is an awesome price for all the information he put together. I've been checking it out all morning and there is some sweet info, especially for a new guy like myself.

If you haven't already, I strongly suggest checking it out, and if you do go ahead and decide to purchase it use my email in the referral slot at checkout and we will both be entered into a huge gear give away. [email protected]

You left out that you'll get a $10 gift card to Elk101.com for each referral... ;)

Trying to get those gift cards for referrals, Huh Cled? :D I like the way you think.

Well if I were signing up, I would sure use your email. Personally, I think $49/$99 is a bit steep to read about elk hunting advice. I did consider cancelling my few magazine subscriptions and singing up but can not seem to justify it. I am really happy to see Corey putting so much effort into helping people grow as elk hunters. #Projectsuccess seems to be generating a lot of interest and some great content.
Anyone taking the UEH class, please keep us updated with reviews!

I'm thinking about signing up, Lord knows I could use the help as I am clueless when it comes to elk hunting. I just got my renewal for western hunter mag, maybe I'll swap that out for the 101.

For the record, I knew nothing about the gift card thing. I just read that we would each receive more chances in the gear drawing. Who ever uses me as a referral can have the gift card!

It's pretty awesome man, I am as new as it gets with all this Elk stuff and it has a ton of info and goes step by step.

Is most of this focused on archery hunting and archery seasons? Or is there valuable stuff in there for the rifle hunter as well?

That's a pretty cheap investment for a potential gold mine of knowledge. I've definitely wasted more money for less return on several previous purchases.

A fix back east
I've pretty much talked myself into it considering a point for WY is $50 per year, which is wasted if I have no idea what the hell I'm doing out there.

Thinking about taking the plunge,I'll quit selling gear for a week or two and save on USPS shipping costs...plus if I'm reading UEH I might miss some gear on Rokslide that I think I need.

I bit. I realized I'm 4 months away from my first elk hunt and don't know how to hunt elk. :D
