I kept some fresh sirloin tip steaks out today. I sparingly used a meat tenderizing hammer on them. I don't normally marinate but decided to marinate them afterwards in Montreal seasoning marinade ( seasoning packet, olive oil, water, red wine vinegar) for an hour. During that hour, I baked some baking potatoes. I cooked the steaks in butter in a cast iron, hot and fast, leaving them hot pink. The Caesar was straight from a bag.

I planned on a Huck It huckleberry blonde ale from Big Sky Brewing but the two I had mysteriously disappeared last night when my son had buddies over. It really isn't a mystery.
