Elk Skull Mount

My Montana public land archery elk skull is on the wall. The wife was tired of seeing mounts scattered through the house, so I did a rough cut pine wall in the basement. I put the elk skull on the Buffalo Bracket so it wouldn't stick out to far from the wall. I scored the elk at 266 and some change and he makes a great addition to the whitetail wall.

Looks like a couple of those whitetails might score 266 too. Nice wall!

I had a local mill cut me 1/2 x 6 inch pine and I nailed it over OSB. Stained it with Weatherwash and if it turns too blue you wipe it with vinegar and that changes the color to more of a yellow.
