Elk shed guess on size?

I know size “does not matter” but it’s always fun to get others opinions and dial in my assumptions better. What would you guess the size of this bull would be, based on the shed I picked up this weekend?

Not easy to determine from that pic, but I agree with @sndmn11 , probably a 6 point.

With a matching side, I would venture about 280ish

I'm just genuinely curious. Have you thought of measuring it? A cloth tape measure or even a piece of paracord and a tape measure is all you need to get close.

I'm not trying to be dick, but we get posts all the time asking how much does my buck/bull score or something similar. It's not live on the hoof so there is no need to guess.

And my guess is 300"

Put a tape on it. That will get you the most accurate data. The trouble with trying to score off pics, especially a single Pic is its difficult to reference size with accuracy.

Yep. 260-280. A solid Colorado 6x6. If you’re in Colorado hide that shed in a bush like everyone else and go “find” it may 1.

My hunting partner killed a bull that looks really similar to that shed this past fall. He was right at 280, I believe.
