Some Elk pics from this weekend. The winter has been extremely difficult for the Elk in central Idaho,I've never seen this many bulls together.

Those are the rare "Snow Elk." Only appear after all hunting seasons are over!

They look to be in pretty good shape despite all the snow. That last big ol' bull looks pretty plump. Hope they all make it through the rest of the winter well.

Surprised they still have antlers.

Last year around Challis we saw a group of 6 bulls in late April, half of them still had their antlers.

Wow, ID is covered up up in bulls, any newb should be able to get an elk there, so anyone new asking what state... the answer is ID.
