Elk in CO - Spotting Scope needed?

Truthfully if you don’t have a high end spotter, the best boots, high end camo and a $1000 invested in a pack your best to stay home.

Oh and if you don’t have a flat brim hat forget elk hunting period!

Any recommendations on a good flat brim hat for CO hunting?

I dont need the hat to kill the elk for me... i just need the hat to find the elk for me, not in anyones secret spot or anything but if its close to the road that would be best

Now I’ve only heard this but I hear a MTN OPS hat of your choice will be pretty much a sure thing for getting elk and ladies.
