good base layers are a must for me. better boots keep me out there longer. a plus i'm enjoying is a small section of tyvek house wrap. works for shelter and is a great place to set meat while you're trying to bag it solo.

Other than your weapon items I use every trip are;
1. Absolute best 10x42 binoculars you can afford
2. Lightweight gortex boots that offer support
3. At the time of year I hunt a good cow call can save the day.

For myself, my top 3 are;

#-1- My Calls, Reed & Bugle does my locating & killing!

#-2- Kenetrek Boots, best boots I've owned!

#-3- EXO 3200 Pack, I plan on killing & packing!

I hunt mostly dark timber & very rough country, no use for optics there.

Aside form the standard items we all need, wet wipes are a must for me along with a good butt pad for glassing/pillow for sleeping, and some insta coffee for the mornings.
