My brother bought a reproduction skull for an antelope that was hit in the lower jaw. That's a long story. But the skull looks fake even from ground level. I'm not sure where the taxi bought it from but he'll never get another reproduction again.
If you’re going the plastic skull route, I recommend painting it or something. Don’t try to hide the fact it’s a fake skull. I painted a plastic skull chrome a few years ago, looks decent. Then, hang it in the garage or something.
I also have a bronzed real WT skull and it looks awesome.
I've done several deer with repro's from Pinchback reproductions. They are really great but I don't know how to find them anymore.
