Elk camp Bourbon

Old Crow - for the artwork, the nostalgia for my early days of hunting, and most importantly the plastic bottle (safe, durable, and light weight)

What celebratory bourbon does everyone bring to camp to sip on after you've harvested your trophy.

I typically bring Makers mark to make whiskey butter for the heart. (camp tradition)
One guy in our group typically brings a bottle of Blanton's.
I keep a kill flask. Flask has Colonel Taylor small batch for the celebration.

We had Eagle Rare in Pronghorn camp last week.

I’d take ER over Blanton’s 24/7…just did that at Costco this week. Once you have all the horseys it loses its luster! If I were forced to ER for the rest of my days I could live very well with that.

I’ve reconfigured my Go Box to take along Wild Turkey Rare Breed. Regular for sipping and the Rye for Old Fashioned's.

I am going to take this opportunity to brag as I did a little hunting yesterday after work while I was out of town:

That EHT SB will definitely make it to a wall tent somewhere someday.
I like the commitment here and have decided that we will be hunting together this year.

It will be muzzleloader elk and archery deer in Colorado. You may want to get a larger pack for the backpack hunting The case will take up some room lol.

I just picked up a Stagg Jr and 2X Weller Single Barrels for $170 total last week
