Elite Impulse 31 or Xpedition Xcentric

In the market for a new bow after this season and so far my 2 favorites are the Elite I31 and the Xpedition Xcentric. I still have a few more bows I plan on shooting before making my final decision. I've shot both of these bows and was impressed. I know the specs and how they shoot, which I like, but for those of you that own either of these: any issues at all? How is customer service with the companies? Any little things to consider with these bows in particular? Or are you guys gonna say you lobe both make my decision that much tougher? Any input is appreciated thanks!

I use to shoot elite, and now shoot the xcentric 7.

Both great companies with excellent CS. Different cam system is the biggest thing. Don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Sweet thanks. Ya that and the split limb is really the two big differences that stand out to me. Did you get around the same speed with that 7 inch brace height as you did with the elite?

I buy a new bow about every 10 yrs....that said, I chose an Elite 31 this year. Love it. I have a 30" draw length and find this bow fantasticly shootable and built for hunting. Quiet, fast, no hand shock, great draw cycle and solid back wall. Will get a decade plus out of this bow and looking forward to it.

Had the e32 and now have a xcentric 6 loved them both. Elite was smooth but slow. Xcentric is a lil more Stiff of a draw but it's going to be since a higher ibo and also it is faster by a good bit.

Both bows was very shooter friendly to me but I prefer a little faster bow. Haven't dealt with elites CS but as far as what I've dealt with xpedition they've been fantastic. I'd not kept a bow over 1 hunting season in a long time. The xcentric is about on its 3rd season. And I'm awaiting their new release in the next 2-3 weeks. I don't see me changing from expedition.

No issues hitting IBO with either bow, I just shoot better with 7" brace height.

Yea i'm kinda on the same page with givin up a little smoothness for quite a bit more speed. A shop near me is sellin the 2016 models for $700 right now! Might be too good to pass up... hopefully the new one isn't too much better because I don't want to shell out the extra cash haha. Thanks for the info man!
