So a pro shop installed a qad hdx on my new elite hunter. Left hand 60 pounds 29 in. Drop away worked great at shop. Got home not so much. Approx every ten arrows the rest don't fall on its own and my fmj blows through it forcing it down with the vanes. I trust the shops work completely. The rests pull cord is about 6.5 inched below the riser shelf and the two lines match up on the rest at full draw. I've tweeked the cord a hair in both direction on the bus cable with the same results. I contacted qad and had the rest sent back. They said it may be intermittent. They went through it and sent it back calling it good. This time I installed it with the qad video as reference. What else could it be. Could this possibly be an issue with how the bow is releasing? Would appreciate any help. I posted this on elites forum also but figured I'd get more response here.

I think 6.5" is too far below, but I don't think that should affect much. Try running it up in the 4" area and see what happens

I have a 2013 Elite Answer, 29" DL. Looks like my cord is about even with the shelf but I have not had issues with the rest. Hope this helps.

thanks ill give that a try. i thought the instructional dvd said at least 5 inches below but i could be mistaken. thanks again

I personally have had issues with using qads with binary bows. I for the life of me couldn't get It to be consistant. Works perfect on my mathews z7. Couldn't get I to work with my prime. I'm not the only one I've heard of that's had issues.

I also use one on a zxt with no problems. Hopefully it's good to go now on this hunter.

Yea I plan on getting rid of it. The clamp is convenient for finding the correct length and just getting it to work right. 60 arrows so far. Seems to be good
