Both are fantastic. Is one or the other easier to tune to arrows with broadheads? Thought about asking on AT, but anything with the word Elite over there quickly becomes a brawl.

Both are great bows but im partial cuz i have a 35.. It took my about 5 shots to paper tune a perfect hole with a fletched arrow then about 6 more shots to get perfect bullet holes with a bare shaft. I then went to bh tune and didnt have to make any adjustments as my bh and fp were money! The 35 imo is very easy to tune as long as the timing is right.

Which One feels the best is the one you want, you cannot go wrong. Although because the bowtech has yokes you will probably get a better tune out of it. Many people say the OD binary is the best cam system out. That being said I've heard the e35 is a shooter! Elite has taken care of their limb issues and is really making a stride to become a top flight bow maker. The bowtech will probably have better resale value if that matters because that particular bow has a cult following and is viewed as one of the best bows made in a long time.

i shot both of these bows last week. ive been shooting bowtech since 2008. i ordered a E35 on Saturday. there was no comparison

Never been a bowtech fan myself.

I wouldnt let the binary cam system and tuning scare you at all. Once you wrap your brain around the fact that the cams are slaved together, they tune really easy.

Im not a tuning guru, but I make a solid effort to learn how to milk the most performance out of the bows I shoot (which up until last year was nothing but single cams), and I had my Answer tuned up in no time.

Hell, even if you know NOTHING about tuning bows, the valley and back wall on the Elites is enough to buy one in itself!

Binarys are cake to tune. Time the cams on a draw board, and adjust the rest. That's it. I creep tune on some bows but it's not necessary for good results. The problem is when you get a bow with lean. You cannot get it out of them. As long as the bow comes out of the factory right it will be a tack driver.

Both nice bows. The CPXL will be easier to tune because of the yokes. Will also get you cleaner arrow flight. Nothing wrong with the Elites, shoot them both and pick whichever feels best.

Other question would be do you have your own equipment, as in a bow press? If not the the Elite will be easier to tune at home. All adjustments have to be made with rest and nocking point. With the OD Binary cams adjustments are made by twisting or untwisting the yokes. You need a press for this.

Decided to go with the Elite Energy 35. Should be here in a few weeks. Can't wait!!! Thank you all for the advice.
