Elevation change differences

What is considered to much elevation change for a certain turret set at certain elevation. If I had turret set at 5550’ and hunted in 9500’ would it be greatly off or would I need another turret or just log all my data and figure dope accordingly instead of getting custom turret.

Log all of your data and figure dope accordingly. If theres a chance you can get to your destination early and shoot to determine the amount of change from elevation change, do it. You're going to be a whole lot more confident in your gun knowing what it shoots at the elevation you're hunting vs getting a custom turret and hoping it's correct.
