I know thee are some of yall who’ve had experience with the Element brand optics, but I didn’t see a lot of info on hunting experience.
Have any of you guys used these for hunting? I’m looking for a “budget” scope with good low light performance and good glass. Not really looking for light weight but good performance and solid build.
Like to keep it under $1K and SFP.

Probably not going to find much Element love because they keep failing the drop test. I played with a Helix HD 2-12x42 for a short bit, but never hunted with it. It's a nice set and forget scope with a BDC reticle. I'd consider the glass to be very nice (but I'm not a glass snob) and the fiber optic illumination was probably the best I've seen. It was daylight bright on the lowest setting and has minimal flare/starburst with my astigmatism. Reticle was bold and usable in low light with no illumination. Everything was as smooth as it could be in operation. My biggest gripe with it is that it's just bulky, like many modern scopes are. I put the Trijicon Accupoint 3-9 back on that rifle and the Element is on eBay as well speak.

Trijicon Accupoint excels in all ways EXCEPT eye relief (bit short on high power), adjustment range (if you're a dialer) and the "illumination" tends to fade out if you're in an enclosed blind without any ambient light. Trijicon has better glass to my eye but the difference isn't much. That's a subjective thing too. Others may not agree. I like the light weight and form factor of the Trijicon, but if that wasn't part of the equation, I could happily hunt the Helix 2-12.
