Electric dirt bikes?

No. I would take the reliability of adding fuel to make my bike run if I were going to be actually hunting off a bike. I think it’s a grey area people can attempt to argue they aren’t on a motorized vehicle in places they shouldn’t be.

I don't know that it's gray. The answer appears to be a hard no when it comes to non-motorized trails, and IDFG has said as much.

Yeah I’m more talking Oregon. I agree it isn’t grey. I only bought one for a pit bike to mess around on.

More importantly, the USFS classifies e-bikes/electric motorcycles the same as gas motorcycles in terms of where they can be used (motorized only trails). What IDFG says is largely irrelevant. IDFG can enforce this rule, but only if wildlife is directly harmed and only if a MOU exists with the USFS.

99.9 percent of the time the citation would be written by a USFS LEO as that’s who has jurisdiction on federal lands at least.

On IDFG lands, you’re point is correct.
