I’ve personally used the 75s in a .223 AI and 123s in a 6.5 Grendel and they worked great up close and at a distance. Will continue to use them without a second thought.

I’ve saw two 108s out of a 6 Creed come completely apart. Both were from 90-120 yards away on small whitetail does. One hit the shoulder and one one only caught a rib. Would not use again on anything bigger than a groundhog.

I’d planned on using 180s out of my 7mm, but have also heard some bad reports on those from guys I trust.

I’ve switched over to Scenars for the upcoming season. 123s in the 6.5x47, 180s in the 7 SAUM, and 155s in my .308. Accuracy is as good or better than I saw with the ELDs. Went back to 95 NBTs in my .243 as my 9.25 twist didn’t like the 105s for some reason.

Aaron Davidson of Gunwerks told me that they had tested the match version on hundreds of animals with no failures. He cautioned shot placement at closer range and staying off of the shoulder

There's a huge thread here already covering this. All my personal experience is with the 140 in a 6.5 Creedmoor. One bull elk at 300, one bullet exited and one was under the hide on the offside. Elk didn't take a step before rolling down the hill. One bear at 380. Didn't take a step, bullet exited. Five deer from 250-755 yards. All one shot kills, most bullets exited, just one was under the skin on the off side. Every wound channel was anywhere from fist sized to 5" in diameter. The ELD M is a brilliantly effective killing bullet in the heavy for caliber offerings.

Were you referring to a bad report of 180 Berger’s for your 7saum? Having a semi custom tikka built as we speak in 7saum, was planning on running 180 vlds. What did your friends say about them?

No sir, haven't heard any bad reports from 180 VLDs, although I don't really know anyone running them. I don't shoot Bergers so I can't comment.

I was referring to 180 ELD-Ms.

Tanya and I have shot 12 animals and I have witnessed at least that many more get shot with them.

They are deadly from 80 yards to 1200 yards.

So far a sheep at 390 yds and a black bear at 50 yards DRT with the 162gr eld-m from my 7saum. Seems to work
